Case study: The Biscuit Factory

About the project:

The Biscuit Factory is the UK's largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle's cultural quarter.

Spearhead Interactive were commissioned to create and deliver a real-time 3D tour of the newly refurbished event venue as part of their marketing and launch strategy.

HIGH QUALITY GRAPHICS

Primarily used as an internal stakeholder demonstrator and a promotional tool for the venue, the visual aesthetic of the solution was expected to be of a high quality, whilst also ensuring access for a range of PC specifications.

 
 

EASY TO USE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Using keyboard and mouse controls or a bluetooth controller, users are able to navigate freely around all areas of the venue; including the foyer, bar, lounge room or main auditorium.

 
 

ANIMATED LOGOS

In order to bring the environment to life and provide some form of interaction, the projection screens in the auditorium are tied to the users proximity and will begin to lower as the user walks towards them; displaying the Biscuit Factory logo.
