Case study: Crest Nicholson

About the project:

Crest Nicholson is a British housebuilding company based in Chertsey, Surrey. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

Spearhead Interactive were commissioned to create and deliver a Augmented Reality visualisation of one of their properties to assist the company in exploring the use of immersive and interactive technology across the Crest Nicholson business.

Key Features:

AUGMENTED REALITY

When a smart-phone or tablet device is directed at the Crest Nicholson logo, the software loads the property model for the user to interact with.

A rotate button has also been included as a quality of life feature.

FLOORPLAN LEVEL SLIDER

In order to navigate through the different levels of the property an interactive slider system has been devised and implemented.

Users drag the slider up and down to move through floorplans, with colour-coding used to show current positions.

NIGHT AND DAY MODE

Users are able to change between two different types of lighting to visualise the property in day-time and nigh-time conditions.
